Umrah Tak Jadi (2005)

Ni bulan 7 yg lalu(2005)

Sudah maklum qada’ dan qadar di tangan Allah. Allah juga yang menentukan rezeki hambanya sebagai tetamu di Tanah Suci Mekah. Itulah kata-kata kesumat yg subur menyirami dan menyejukkan hati sedihku di kala ini.

At the beginning of our examination, instead of going back to Malaysia 

I hope I can learn native Egyptian Arabic and do my umrah. It is better for me because next year I want to go back to Malaysia during my summer holiday with my best Egyptian friend, Ahmad. I did all the documents needed for application in the middle of the exam. My mushrif, an Indonesian told me, there should not be any problem for us. “Confirm, insyaallah” is my consideration.

Saudi Arabia Embassy considered it as an error. Truly I said there is no such a single name of my grandfather in any documents.Now my summer holiday began already. The merriness I dreamed in this vacation honestly vanished and I could feel the anger filling up my mind when this bad news was heard. 

The mushrif said the problem arises from the documents. My grandfather’s name and my father’s name are quite confusing and Saudi Arabian Embassy considered it as an error. Truly I said there is no such a single name of my grandfather in any documents (not like arabian's name).

Whether they have any problem or they just ignored my application.

I won’t be damn sad and furious if they tell me earlier than this. Just now I was informed by the musyrif even though the date of departure just the day after tomorrow. I have packed up all my things and cashed some of my money needed to bring along with. My eyes closed. My mouth locked and I don’t know what I will do now except be patient till I got hidayah to decide.
